Thursday 18th August – bike *** – Around Felixstowe including lunch by the Deben at the Ferry – sunny periods and hot.

A day of sunny periods and hot again with still no sign of any measurable rain here in Felixstowe, so exercises and take a few pics in the garden. Then for the second day running Mag makes tuna pasta and we head out on our bikes, quite late today, arriving down on the prom around 1.45. Usual route along the prom ending up at our spot on the mouth of the River Deben for a picnic and watch the yachts coming and going, just lovely:) Then onto the Ferry jetty before taking the very bumpy Deben path to Kings Fleet, Marsh Lane to the woods at The Grove then home for a cuppa and cake, sadly not homemade today:(
